Tor is a qualified Montessori Teacher and has gained her  NVQ 3 in Children in Young peoples workforce.  Tor has a valid Paedriatic first aid certificate and up to date DBS (CRB), whilst being on the update service

Tor has worked with children for the past 22 years, in a variety of settings, including nurseries, holiday clubs, crèches and as a nanny, which has provided Tor with a wealth of experience with a variety of ages from 6 months onwards

 

"I believe children should be encouraged to gain independence through making their own decisions, looking after themselves and learning at their own individual paces. Through this, they gain self-esteem and confidence in their own abilities.  I believe the advantage I have in my home based setting is that the children are able to continuously choose and I can plan on either a day to day basis, what interests each individual child on that particular day, or change or adapt plans to their their own individual needs".
